In charge of training the interns assigned to the “hell ward”, Chi Ming is extremely competent and has a rich history of work experience. However, his odd behaviour drives away the majority of the hospital staff, who often avoid him at work. The courageous and kind-hearted Kei Lok is the only one who develops an inexplicable sense of curiosity towards Chi Ming. When she finally finds an opportunity to get to know him better, she realizes that he is harboring many secrets. Meanwhile, Chi Ming stirs several instances of intense discord between the interns. The group is faced with different challenges while simultaneously preparing for their final practical exam. Is “Death Ray” actually the angel or the devil?
