May is a beautiful and successful woman in many ways. However, her romantic relationships never go well. One day, May’s widowed father tells her he will marry Lan. Even more shocking is that Lan is accused of being the “Poisonous Widow” who lives a luxurious life by killing her rich husbands.

May begins to investigate Lan’s background to save her father from being a victim. Bit by bit, May is subconsciously influenced by Lan’s twisted views on love, money, and sex.

One day Osomatsu meets an elderly gentleman who tells him a story about his son, who he lost in an accident. Coincidentally, Osomatsu looks similar to the deceased son, and so the gentleman wishes to adopt him. The man turns out to be the CEO of a big company, and, after overhearing the conversation, the rest of the sextuplets deicide to get into a fight with Osomatsu to decide who will become the heir. Later on, the story takes a sudden, unexpected twist as three strange men dressed in black show up.

This is a live-action story adaptated from Usamaru Furuya's manga with the same title.

The story revolves around nine students at an all-boys school who create a god-like Lychee machine to capture the beautiful women of the world. However, the machine eventually becomes self-aware "and is soon equally capable of measuring beauty and executing justice.

Writer Tsutomu lives alone at a mountain cabin in Nagano. He collects fruits and mushrooms from the mountain. He also raises vegetables in a field. Everyday, he cooks his meals with these natural ingredients. Doing that, he can feel the flow of the seasons and he writes his book. Sometimes, his editor/girlfriend Machiko visits him. They cook with seasonal ingredients and eat together. They have a good time together. Tsutomu seems to be enjoying an easygoing life, but he is still unable to bury his dead wife’s ashes in a grave. His wife died 13 years ago.
